INTRODUCING
PROFESSIONAL ANIMAL CHIROPRACTIC TO WESTERN COLORADO |
SPECIALIZING
IN HORSES AND DOGS |
HORSES |
Pain can prevent a horse from turning left or right; clearing a jump, wanting to be ridden or saddled or make them just plain cranky and out of sorts.
We ask performance horses to accomplish things they would not normally do on their own. Some of these feats are barrel racing, roping, cross country endurance, hunter jumping, dressage, racing, western pleasure, etc. |
This high level of performance can cause subluxations from a mild to a severe degree. The horse can show us subtle hints as to the pain that he feels by gradually or suddenly becoming less supple, refusing to perform tasks that he previously did willingly, or just generally feel stiff and different from before. He could also be flinchy during saddling.
Dr. Rick Kauffman and his wife, Jane, can either come to your place (if in Western Colorado) or you can
haul your horse to their place and get a complete exam of the chiropractic condition of your horse. Dr. Rick is proficient at chiropractic of extremities as well as full spine. Price varies according to your horse's manners and condition as well as the distance we must drive to see your horse.
Remember, your horse's performance can be determined by the
health of his spine and/or extremities. Give your horse the best care available by adding chiropractic to the list. |

DOGS |

Your dog can exhibit symptoms of pain when getting up, dizziness, limping on any leg, soreness to the spine when touched, noticeable hip problems, or the inability to turn his head smoothly. Any of these symptoms could be chiropractic problems. We normally have you bring the dog to us at which time we do a full spinal/extremity examination. |
Chiropractic has been found to help
wobblers in some instances. Hip dysplasia has also had some success under chiropractic care.
Your dog deserves to feel great. After all, he gives
you total trust and love each and every day! Again the price varies according to your dog's manners and condition. |
